May is National Foster Care Month

In 2015, 50% of children taken into protective custody in Ohio had parents that were identified as illegal drug users.  70% of children under 1 had parents that had used opiates, including heroin.  This epidemic has caused an increased need for foster care families.

Today's Health and Wellness' Mark Nuce welcomes Deborah Armstrong, Communications Director at Franklin County Children's Services.  Currently, there are more than 300 youth in Franklin County who are in need of loving foster homes.
